This Park Model is located on Lot # 103 within Harkers Island RV Resort. It is centrally located so you can still see the water but not have to worry about storm surge. It is also $1,100 cheaper on annual lot rent than the waterfront units ($6,000 vs $7,100) and has a lot more room to park vehicles, etc. Its location makes it one of the nicest lots in the resort with plenty of shade, a solid 14’ x 36’ graveled driveway, plus a good-sized yard for your kids or dogs to play in.
Harkers Island is a quiet, relaxing location but only a quick ride by boat or car to Beaufort, Morehead City, or Atlantic Beach. There are tons of sightseeing options at hand such as Cape Lookout Lighthouse, wild horses at Shackleford Banks, Fort Macon, Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium, several museums, plus waterfront dining on Taylors Creek in Beaufort where you might see a dolphin cruise by. If you are looking to fish, this area has some of the best inshore/offshore fishing you can find on the North Carolina coast.
Harkers Island RV Resort is a gated community with its own swimming pool, bathhouses, kid’s playground, dog park, private beach, boat launch, laundromat, dumpsters, picnic pavilion, and fishing pier with gazebo and fish cleaning station. Boat lifts or storage are available for extra. Lot rent is only $6,000 per year (can be split into 2 payments or paid all at once).. Water, sewer, park internet, and grass mowing are included for free, but electricity is on your own…the bill runs between $50 and $75/month, so very reasonable. Buyer must pass a background check and is responsible for a $2,500 transfer fee to the resort owner. The park is open year-round.
